This is it, the final segment of Blood and Chrome. We hope you’ve enjoyed it over the past five weeks and that you’ve liked reading our reviews as they’ve come out. Next Tuesday we’ll review the final episode and give a round up of the mini-series as a whole.
(PS. This should have gone up yesterday but we forgot to press ‘post’. Oops!)
Last week Blood and Chrome episodes 1 and 2 were aired on Machinima Prime’s YouTube channel. This week episodes 3 and 4 are also available as a combined episode (I guess they decided it was silly to air two separate 7-12 minute episodes in the same day – not sure how that effects the numbering of episodes… but I’l leave that to Machinima to sort out!).
Episode 5 and 6… or 4… or 4 and 5 depending on how the channel decides to label the next parts will be available Friday 23rd. Our review of episodes 1-4 will be available in the next 48hrs.
What do you think of Blood and Chrome so far? Does it live up to expectations set by Battlestar Galactica and Caprica? You know where comments go by now.
When Battlestar Galactica ended in 2008 I think a lot of people wanted to see more. Caprica was a good place to start but it failed to grip audiences immediately and ended after its first season. After its cancellation Blood and Chrome’s future looked uncertain; what was originally pitched as a television series detailing the first Cylon war attracted interest from viewers but concern from studios. For a long time it was pondered among the fans whether Blood or Chrome would get made at all.
